CT Research Institute (CTRI) was formed in June 2005 by the Chidambaram Family and by various Family Trusts associated with the Chidambaram Family. The Institute carries out research and training activities in the field of automotive engine cooling systems. The Institute is named after our Group’s Founder and Chairman late
Mr. V. Chidambaram, referred to as CT.

Our Research Institute is committed to conduct various performance and life cycle tests on the products and parts of engine cooling systems in order to achieve International standards of Engine Performance. Research activities are carried out in the field of engine cooling systems in order to meet Emission requirements and help in efforts to reduce vehicle pollution.

Our Institute is also dedicated its services to train technical people in the areas of Manufacturing, Quality and Product development and also offer on the job practical training. The institute also provides Research and testing facilities for Industrial Units located in the Gummidipoondi area. In the near future the institute will set up a library, which will subscribe to various technical journals and this will be open to public at large.
