Ltd. His previous employment was Managing Director
of SPIC Holdings and Investments Ltd. He worked
in the SPIC Group for over 30 years and was involved
in Tamilnadu Petroproducts Ltd (one of the largest
producers of LAB in India) from 1985 to 1996, where
he was made Managing Director. He is a qualified
Chartered Accountant.

Chidambaram
Venkat Chidambaram is a director on the board of Nippon Thermostat (India) Ltd. Previously he held a senior Investment management position in Towry, a leading financial services firm in the UK. Prior to that he was Deputy Chief Investment Officer at TFO Management LLP and spent over ten years as an Investment Director with GAM, a division of UBS (Union Bank of Switzerland) based in London, UK. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American Intercontinental University (AIU) in London and an MBA from Cass Business School, London. He served in the British Army Volunteer Reserve (TA) from 1993 to 1999.

Joined the Group in 1974 as a trainee. He is General Manager of Nippon Thermostat (India) Limited. Previously he was responsible for the management of the Oil Cooler unit of India Radiators in Pondicherry and was head of R&D with India Radiators. He has spent most of his career in R&D activities relating to the area of Cooling Systems and has extensive experience in this field. He holds a M.Sc Degree in Chemistry from the American College in Madurai, Tamil Nadu..
